Actually you can't compare directly the GCN architecture of ps4 gpu to the RDNA2 of ps5 's. If you do, the differnce is much more than 5x. Every teraflop of RDNA2 is much more potent than a GCN one.
I am sure it will. But i buy consoles for games anyway. The most important thing is the games. If you have the games then you can talk frame rates. It 's useless to talk about frame rates without games. But that 's just me. I hope you liked the games of the show. Me, i 'll pass.
Everyone seems to forget that tflops of rdna2 architecture can't be compared directly to last gen's tflops. Ps4 pro was 4.6 tflops and ps5 will be 10.3. But the difference is much higher than 5.7 tflops. The rdna2 cus run at least 30% faster than last gen's cus.
10.3 tflops of rdna2 is more than enough people. This combined with the ultra fast ssd and lighting fast i/o throughput, translates to a true generational leap.
