There's literally no reason to buy an Xbox now.
Are you talking about Arkham VR ? if so, It's a side project and they never said they canned anything to work on it.
If it was going to be released this year they would've said so, I think there's a lot more wrong with it other than character designs, Like PC arkham knight kind of wrong.
Arkham Knight's PC port was handled by a small company called Iron Galaxy and this remaster is being handled by a company called Virtuos.
What does Origins deserve praise for ? It's Arkham City with a different paint job.
That's what will happen to full games if they're only streamed through company servers.
Arguments can be made about Asylum or Knight being the best as well which shows what a great trilogy it is.
It's just a shame WB handled Knight so badly.
Some of the models looked off but the rain affects and Batman looked great so if they can make everything look as good it'll be worth the delay.
However, the way it looks might not be why it's being delayed cause it's being ported using a new engine so maybe it's a technical mess like Arkham Knight's PC version.
WB really hurt the franchise's reputation after City so they can't afford to make any major mistakes with this.
They're just taking their time and whatever they're working on is going to change the way we look at DLC.
It doesn't matter how many you have, if everything is released on PC then Xbox is worthless.
Same thing with Ps4, if Sony decided to release uncharted and their other big exclusives on PC then there would be no reason to buy one.

The xbox is currently nothing more than an inferior PC and what Microsoft is doing shows that they don't believe in the brand so if they don't, why should we ? if you're going to buy a console then buy a ps4 cause it has what any console should have, exclusives that can't be bought anywhere else.
Last year there was some superhero game that moved a lot of consoles but I don't remember what it was, the hero had pointy ears and was being haunted by a dead clown.
