As of 2/22/14 there were about 320, 000 preorders for the Xbox 1 version. That's a good start. But your right, the fact that it's on 360 and pc might cut into potential Xbox 1 sales. So if titanfall is to be the relaunch of the Xbox 1, numbers wise it might be off to a slow start.

Those numbers are for the game only, not the bundle.

Well, at least we know the Xbox 1 can do twitch flawlessly.

It really comes down to price. If the game play is similar on both consoles, its hard to a $500 upgrade to play it.

A hyped game that can be played on 360 or pc. Speaking of which, has the bigger install base.

Nice incentive for anyone looking to buy an Xbox 1.

Did you play it? If not what do you care?

How exactly are Americans "shoving our opinions down peoples throats"?

I'd like to see some 360 gameplay. That's where I'm going to play it. I plan to rent it, and if it lives up to the hype i'll buy it used. I won't reward ea with my hard earned money.

Read the article, it states Xbox loses billions a year. Im not saying they are going to sell it. Just something to think about. Microsofts main business is not game consoles. Its software. Anything they do outside is a venture in making more money. Like zune. It couldn't compete with iPod so they killed it. All investors care about is profits. They don't care about what you think or like. The moment Xbox becomes a liability they will consider selling it. At a profit no doubt.

@stryfeno2
So you read it?

you get disagrees for a personel preference?

Why? Because he didn't like it? I'm sure there'll be other people who won't like it either. Besides its gotten more positive than negative feedback.

Proof? Link?

I wouldn't write off either of those consoles just yet. Nintendo has some great games coming and Microsoft has titanfall. Not that they'll catch Sony, but it should give them a nice bump. It's a win for the entire gaming industry.

I see what your saying. But Technology has advanced, we should expect better consoles from one generation to another. You're right consoles will never be as good as pc's. For that same reason, shouldn't we expect consoles to perform on par with current pc's? which by todays standards is 1080p and 60 frames per second.

Adam obviously loves, not surprised. Lets see how many Xbox 1's it will sell.

4369d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

How do you know that they don't own an Xbox 1? Believe it or not there will be people who'll play it and won't like it. Shocking, I know. You say resolution doesn't matter. Then why not play it on the 360 and save $500? If graphics don't matter.

And that's the problem, if it's not cod or battlefield it just doesn't sell. Even though they get a pass on everything killzone gets blasted for. Single player 7.5,multiplayer 9. At least killzone was playable at launch.

Who says people are tired of shooters? I'm just curious, if this was a PlayStation exclusive would it be getting the same hype?
