The demographic of gamers that buy most single player/retail based games are simply getting to the age where there’s less time for gaming as they are starting families, getting into their first home etc., so there’s less and less time for gaming, so time will only be made for things that are truly groundbreaking or playing backlogs.

The younger generations are all into live service games like Fortnite so that eats up a lot of potential investment into traditional games as w...

I would hope so. When they announced these handhelds they said you could take your “entire Xbox library” on the go. It’s like they forgot OG Xbox, 360, and half the XB1 generation that didn’t support cross buy.

I think they teased it a few months back when they announced Halo studios. It does look quite incredible graphically but as Hennessy says above, how it runs is gonna be a different story given UE5 track record.

I’m gonna have to strong disagree on that. I truly love action-war based single player campaigns. They are simple fun and not long to get through and are really good in between games to play amongst a sea of 50 hour open world experiences and service based games.

And if there’s an option for me to play a high fidelity one, despite some shortcomings, where I don’t have to fork any money over to CoD, then count me the heck in.

If you go to the theatre and there is a problem with the audio or video and you walk out halfway through and tell them that, they would 100% give you a refund. In fact, one time there were a few dead pixels on the projector and at the end of the movie, the manager came out and apologized for the inconvenience and gave everyone a coupon to see another movie.

PlayStation is pretty much the only platform where even if there is something legitimately wrong with the game, they s...

It would be interesting to see what the player base for COD would look like right now if they also made BO6 3.99 on Steam.

The Switch 2’s price point is great and fine and it’s still cheaper than the current gen of consoles aside from the Series S.

The only place I think they will fall short is their software sales, which also in turn may affect the hardware sales but not significantly. Parents will be fine paying for the system for their kids, but one look at an $80-$90 price tag for a single video game, that is where a lot of people will draw the line. Maybe not so much the people who are in ...

Oh lord. $225 is still $225. Our salary to buying power is roughly the same across NA. If anything we have less buying power with what we earn and the cost of things because everything is significantly more expensive.

Regardless currency exchange withstanding, it’s not a price US folks would want to pay if they had to. They don’t even wanna pay $80 for games when we’ve had to pay $100 for 2+ years now.

It’s ridiculous thankfully I only sub every few mont...

I unfortunately accidentally missed the last step for one of the quest lines for the last gold record I need and it was right near the end of the game.. so I will have to do a third playthrough and I’m procrastinating it but hope to do it again before the DLC lol

So excited for this. Lies of P is in my top 3 souls games and that is including games made by FromSoft

Elden Ring
Dark Souls 3
Lies of P
Bloodborne

Keep telling myself I’m gonna go back and grab the platinum in Lies of P before the DLC but there are an unreasonable amount of incredible games releasing this year lol

God I’m still hoping for a Hail Mary last final hope for there to be twilight princess port to switch. I even went out and bought a Wii U specifically for it but I just want to have it for my Switch as my favourite Zelda game to play a little more portably.. so please Nintendo pleaseeee

Personally I’m excited to check it out eventually. My backlog is way too big and I know it’ll be down to $20-$30 in a year lol

Article title is pretty click baity, the quote from him is quite plainly “Best *AC* combat system in years”. He is NOT saying that this game has the best combat system compared to other games lol

Honestly not sure exactly how I’m gonna feel about DD1 in comparison to 2. DD2 is in my top 5 games of the generation. I know it’s gonna be amazing based on everything I’ve seen, but my absolute favourite part of DD2 was the physics and visuals too. The combat felt really satisfying and had a lot of realism baked into its impact.. hard to explain lol, but I’ve heard very similar things to what you’re saying about DD1 being better

Picked up Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen for 5 bucks! What a steal. Just played through DD2 which was amazing and I’ve heard the original is even better.

Not gonna happen.. PS5 Pro’s price is here to stay and will likely be the price to enter the next generation as well.

No no that would be silly.. first you will load into the ship docks area.. then you will enter and load into your ship’s quarters. Then you will exit the quarters to load into the deck of the ship, and once you depart the docks, then you will load into the sea.. now that’s much much better
