"A store creating exclusives that have no place in the PC market."
????
just wondering if there were any gamers that complained about the blizzard launcher.
no body complained about overwatch, league of legends, Diablo, and Destiny being exclusive to blizzard for years?
if you support the blizzard launcher you are supporting launcher exclusivity.....
I actually prefer Remedy to experiment more with QB as the foundation than Alan wake. there is much more to do with that title.
A sequel to Alan Wake would be the most trickiest of the two. It's practically complete in it's current state. leaving a sequel off to a harder start. my particular concern with Alan Wake is where they left off with American Nightmare. the DLC was cannon but leaning towards repetitious, also adding little to the base story.
bouzebbal - "No thanks.. They had good freedom on 360and the only thing they could come up with was Alan Wake, a very boring game I didn't even finish.."
Alan Wake was pretty intense. for it's time. leaving it on that footnote.
it was quoted as being "the most powerful console they've ever designed."
that would mean more impact than the original xbox had. the GPU inside of the original Xbox didn't become available to purchase for almost 2 years later. same with Xbox 360's unified shader architecture.
store options are good. many are attached to the features of steam. (which can be replicated.)
it's kinda disjointed how achievements and features are handled on PC. all providers are split in this aspect. they all have something similar but not as rewarding as steam currently has it.
Epic in particular is fleshing out their UI and features. i'm pretty sure Epic store will expand in the many areas that gamers complain about.
we haven't seen the console yet. all we know is that there will be options to play xbox games through the service on any mobile device. if your accommodations are not suitable for online streaming then the console will have high value to those gamers. as it stands off-line hardware gaming is still worth it's price.
Mr_Writer85 "it's not like they're forcing you to move to another platform. You just have to open an other app to download it. "
exactly. consider Epic store like buying a game from "Best Buy" instead of "Target". the complaint equates to gamers preferring one store over the other. the product remains the same. i can understand store loyalty but man...so much drama!
"Microsoft doesn't need a portable when they have this. The phone/tablet you already have becomes the new portable."
precisely. no need in having dedicated hardware with both games and visuals locked to it. and all of your games plus saves will be accessible through any device.
now if only we can have the option of a cloud version bundled though single game purchases. then we would be onto something even bigger.
Scarlet Includes 2 consoles. a cheaper model and the more expensive version. MS gave simple specs from one of them. what is known is that there is a Xbox console that will be 4x times more powerful than XB1X. which is 6Tflops and is 4.6 times more powerful than the classic XB1.
