Deals like that are usually advertised on the game cover itself, so i don't see how it is even Gamestop's responsibility to put a disclaimer on the game. Like end3br0 said, after you finish the game and the camera pans out you see Kratos' body resting on the carving of a phoenix. Let the credits roll and you get to see a blood trail starting from where the now missing body of Kratos was, leading over the edge of the cliff.
