I admit I like my Playstation more than my Xbox 360, but if this deal were to be on retail stores too, i would seriously not even think about the PS3 version, and just get the Xbox 360 version and take advantage of this awesome deal (granted Microsft would lose millions of money, but would have more sales for the 360 version).
Sony allowed devs to let a game be region-free if they wanted. Ever since the PS3 launched all way back from mid November 2006 to now, only 1 (read ONE) game was region-locked.
Maybe the devs will do the same and just make the games DRM-free.
Lol you just contradicted yourself. You say FFVII is NOT worth the hassle of remaking, but FFVI is? Yes, FFVI was a near perfect game, but so was FFVII. The thing with FFVII though is... MONEY! The FF fanbase is split on whether FFVI or FFVII was the best, FFVII was the game that made FF a brand name (yes, the older games did have fans, but it wasn't until FFVII that the franchise got huge), more people know Cloud and Tifa than Terra, FFVII is the BEST-SELLING game Square has ever created...
