Permadeath makes me put down my controller, cry silent rage tears, and wish bad things on the world.
The author makes a good point that Nintendo learned all the wrong things from the Wii - just because it sold well, that doesn't mean it was a good system. They now are hooked on creating the "next Wii" instead of focusing on solid third party game support.
