First off the show adds needless sex scenes that werent in the book, so dont act like its supposed to be like that. Thats just HBO trying to add gratuitous shock value, not to say theres no sex in the books, there is. For instance the character 'Ros' (the whore) shes not in the books and was created specifically for the show, and what is her purpose? Being in and around sex scenes. Im fine with less time spent on sex

This whole campaign is PR damage control response to the "Worst company award" and all of the other negative PR theyve been getting for Mass Effect 3.
This way they can come out and say "Look were actually the victims here! Were fighting for peoples freedom!" Bioware is not smart enough to trick players with the Indoc theory. It wasnt planned, just happened to be a great coincidence. With that being said, if they use the theory and weave it into the ending and make it seem intentional then I dont really have a problem with that.
The way the ending comes across, and all of BW PR since then just makes it seem like the ending was in fact the real one, Bioware just sucks at writing endings, simple.
So what, we cant critique a game because its "art" and therefore PERFECT? Art does not imply merit. Video games are a product first and foremost, the endings suck and are illogical get this into your heads.
Im pretty sure they did the same thing in BFBC2, as long as its optional for people who want max rewards, who cares
Video games are an ACTIVE MEDIUM. The player inputs controls and changes the games in a way. In comparison a TV show or a movie is a passive medium. The viewer is just an observer, they have no input on whats happening.
But thats is totally not the case with video games. And its especially true for a game like Mass Effect that totes "player choice" the way it does.

Id say much much worse. Compare the writing of the Baldurs Gate series to Mass Effect, while I enjoyed ME, it doesnt stand a chance against BG. Look at how much 'effect' your choices have in those games, how much depth and customization there is, compared to the ones now. Theyve dumbed down, simplified and casualized their games to 'get the Call of duty audience". This no doubt coincides with nickel and diming DLC as well, that EA makes them do.
