I have never ever had a WD drive brick on me.
I have a 1tb WD external that I use to back all my stuff up on and it runs like butter.
Plus the Samsungs are louder and run hotter. I can't be bothered finding it, but go to Toms Hardware and they do a comparison of 2.5" 500g drives and the scorpio wins out in almost all factors.
I'll see if I can get it.

I have a ps3, I have my HRAP3, that is what I'll get. However, if I had a stick for it, and had a 360 I would get that one as I do love the 360's ATi gfx chip.
Has beautiful colours and a slight 'free' anti aliasing on all renders.
Now in motion, you probably can't tell them apart (maybe colours) but I'm just anal.

Just for comparison I booted up COD4 to compare, I put the sense up on KZ2 and use alternate 2 ctrls....no difference, no lag.

Manufacturers sell the drive based on 1GB=1000MB, 1MB=1000kb 1KB=1000bytes, etc.
Hard drives are formatted like this: 1GB=1024MB, 1MB=1024kb, 1KB=1024bytes, etc.
So you're not really losing anything, it's just deceptive marketing. So *I think* 1GB actually equals 1073.741824MB, but I probably did the math wrong (1024(b)x1024(k)x1024(m)). So for every GB you lose ~74MB. Works out for me, I've got 2 120GB drives, using 74MB/GB "loss" I should have 8880MB less...
