He was meant to be played as you as master chief, just like Gordon Freeman, now they decided to make him more human, which I think it's awesome.

one of the first game i bought when i was young, the game was hard so i retured it, then i decide to get it and beat it, and man i sure do love it! I HAVE IT UNTIL THIS DAY ;)
