i think next gen multiplayer should be free. enough is enough. 1 live account is fine but for a family it is a bit much

while i am all for online passes in theory, in practice it just pisses people off. people who play games but don't read these sort of sites. the gamers i know who fall into this category just don't buy the online pass. maybe things will change as they become standard practice.
I really think the retailers have a responsibility to at least put a sticker on it, but of course they care more about the sale (they make more on 2nd hand games) than they do about their custo...

my 5.1 trittons work perfectly fine for discrete positional audio once you get used to them (you need time to train your ears). but i agree you can't get the same performance from a 2 speaker headset outputting virtual surround, you need 4 speakers in each ear like mine. and no i am not delusional

there is an android app that tells you when you scan a product before you buy it
too many hackers on PC, not as many on console. Sure you get mods but at what cost? Also, nobody buys your game unless they have to, e.g. multiplayer. Yet there are only a few MP games that dominate, the other franchises struggle as much as the SP only games.
Sony is going broke because they don't have a successful subscription service yet. PSN is still costing Sony a bundle to provide.
