Unfortunately this article is inaccurate. It's confirmed that Activision shipped $1 billion to retailers globally which is a huge difference than sell through which is the consumer. GTA V sell through was $800 million in its 1st 24 hours globally. Sell through #'s most likely will be reported by Activision later this week
Black Friday is when most retailers go from a net loss on their balance sheet to a new profit. Walmart, Kohl's, Best Buy & Target don't apply as those corporations make a quarterly profit before Black Friday comes along. Walmart is the largest retailer globally & typically sees over $450 billion yearly in sales aka revenues & over $14 billion in profits. Black Friday doesn't have the significance that it had about 10 years ago.

The article is wrong & needs to be corrected that the Wii sold 1.7 million units in its first year of release globally. The # is significantly higher than that.

I think you need to see Killzone Shadowfall in action. This is the best looking next gen game on the PS4. Knack which is also an exclusive looks decent but it doesn't look like a next gen game. There is a 20 minute video on N4G in 1080p which looks great & the game went gold today which means there will be no delay.

I strongly disagree with you because the Uncharted franchise has a big following & Naughty Dog knows this. It's only a matter of time before Naughty Dog announces Uncharted 4 for the PS4. I expect it to be announced at the VGA's this year when The Last Of Us most likely wins for video game of the year. The only other game that may have a chance to win the video game of the year is GTA V but it depends how it scores on metacritic.com after the game is released. It would be foolish ...
