Those were some pretty bold predictions by Pachter, especially the remarks about Nintendo being irrelevant. I can't believe this guy gets paid for this.

Microsoft also has a clause in its contracts that says that any game made for the 360 and any other current Gen consoles must all be created equal. Meaning that if u want to make a game for both 360 and PS3, that the PS3 version cannot exceed the 360 version in graphics etc...
There's really no rules or embargoes when you pirate something.
I'm guessing this is only a review for the single player campaign because it's too early to play the multiplayer on a pirated copy for fear of being banned. Of course this is all just speculation...
Yeah this seems more a like a prank, instead of trying to teach his kids a lesson. I suppose it all depends on how soon he tells his kids that it wasn't really their PS3 he broke. But wouldn't it be easier to just take their PS3 away when they don't clean up or follow the rules??

I'm personally very intrigued with how Sony is going to handle the PS Store when the PS4 is launched. Will we see two separate stores, one being on the PS3 and Vita, and the PS4 having its own separate store?? I'm sure Sony's ownership of Gaikai is going to come into play somewhere, more than likely being involved in backwards compatibility.
But where will Sony draw the line when it comes to PS3 backwards compatibility??? For example, digital PS3 full games bought...

That's exactly what I was thinking too.They were the go to channel for E3 coverage. For that whole week they aired pretty much nothing but E3 coverage, which was frigging awesome. The convenience of all the E3 conferences, except for MS, on one channel in HD was the best. I hope maybe Spike will now start to cover and air all of E3 like G4 did, including all of the conferences. If not I guess I'll be watching more online live streams.
I'd bet money it isn't a review copy. More than likely they pirated the game considering its been available for two days.
Yeah I think it's time EA and MoH give up on trying to be/beat CoD. I even think that they would also benefit in moving the release window of MoH from fall to possibly spring time. There's just way too much competition from bigger franchises which are overshadowing MoH. Release MoH in the spring or summer after everyone is tired of CoD.
I loved the first Bioshock. Its one of the best games this generation IMO. I especially liked the combat. If you saw a Big Daddy you weren't forced to fight them. You decided when you wanted to fight em. Not to mention it had one of the greatest story/plot this Gen.
Maybe so and I believe you're right... But the last MoH, even with its 7.5 metacritic average, sold millions. Not CoD millions though. I bought the last one week one, ignoring the reviews. I enjoyed the game but felt the reviews were right after I played it, it was a 7.5 game IMHO.
What I'm really getting sick and tired of is those who say its too early to talk about policies and/or some sort of gun control. After each tragedy like this those who we appointed always say that and then after a few days/weeks its all forgotten until the next tragedy. How many more times must we as a society endure these heinous acts of violence before we do something???
We need more leaders who aren't afraid to stand up for what is right, more politicians who aren...
