1. It is LESS immersive(bullets and sparks flying past my head removes me from the experience). 2. There is ALMOST NO SUPPORT other than Sony, except LG, Samsung, Panasonic, Pioneer, Toshiba, Time Warner, Fox, New Line, Warner Bros., Disney, Pixar, ESPN, Discovery, Imax, Comcast, Directv, AT&T Uverse, and a bunch of other fly-by-night no-names. 3. Nobody will wear glasses in the living room except early-adopting weirdo's that think it's ok to dress down on their own couch, I don...

the future, the difference is I am going off data already established and you are trying to look into a crystal ball calling it a fad(do you have ANY evidence to support 3D decreasing in popularity, ANY AT ALL?) and you are pulling numbers such as .01 % out of your ass...

I buy an hdtv about every 4 years(on my 2nd) and I am due for #3 so of course I will future-proof my purchase with 3d-capability. I can't wait for some ps3d gaming.

3d WILL work with glasses(how the hell do you think studios made more money off their 3d versions across the board in 2009? they used glasses IN PUBLIC)why don't you google that, now the next question is can this 3d experience be brought home and if u have bothered to go to best buy and demoed the answer is YES. Now your next statement is just retarded- it's like saying if I can enjoy a game in standard-def then I do not need the hd version(if I can enjoy a hyaundi sonata please do n...
