This thing is seriously underpowered, I don't know who this is for? PC gamers wont buy it because they like making their own rigs, console gamers wont buy it because it doesn't have the branding or eco system they use. I mean just from the specs it can't even run Boarderlands 4 as that needs a 8 core CPU while this machine has a 6 core CPU and is being released in 2026? If it is cheap like 400 dollars that might be worth it but this is going to bomb
Slaps head* sigh Hollow Knight is not a souls like 2d game by any stretch of the imagination. It is a standard metroidvania. It doesn't carry the standard difficulty of a soul's game nor the movement of a soul's game.
Valve isn't criticized for any of the garbage moves they make as the user base will just dismiss everything... almost like MAGA. Child gambling is only one of many Valve issues. I actually I agree with this. I love the souls genre however the newer games aren't innovating at all. They are all using the same combat systems and level layouts from the original dark souls and that game is basically 15 years old. The combat feels stale.

Valve can't compete it is as simple as that. The Steam Deck sold horribly, and they lost a boat load of money on it. PC gamers didn't respond because why would you want to play Graphically impressive games on such a small screen with no battery life, console gamers didn't respond because it has no physical media making it worthless in the aftermarket. No one wanted it and it showed in sales. Valves is just horrible at hardware and they need to stop.
Yikes not this again. Steam Machines were a total flop, If they do release another console you can say good bye to all the Sony ports. They will yank those off of the store front so fast. With GTA 6 not being release on PC's you can bet that it won't show up on a steam console anytime soon which would mean death for the system.
They aren't wrong, A lot of PC gamers still aren't even playing 4k as a standard right now myself included. Can't afford it. But this steam machine is already underpowered and unless it is really cheap pretty much dead on arrival
