I have the same issue, but only for my left stick. There seems to be a super, super thin material that makes up the textured surface of the sticks. My right stick looks and feels fine but my left has started to wear down to the smooth rubber underneath.....it's weird because i am someone who takes REALLY good care of my things (i used a toothbrush to clean the gap in the handles on the 360 controller for years lol).

.........more powerful, having better 1st party developers, having more 1st party developers, superior versions of every multiplat, PS plus games, Vita remote play support, better reputation amongst gamers spanning 2 decades, better customer relationship/PR, track record of supporting their consoles all the way through the generation and beyond....completely ignore all of those things.

Loving my PS4 but PS3 is the console of the year, by far. The exclusives and the great PS plus offerings are enough to make it the best console in 2013.
Gotta agree with you on the whole live vs PS plus thing, i paid for live for years and didn't really like doing it, i didn't get much for my money apart from the odd demo and the ability to talk to my friends via party chat and play online. Then i bought PS plus earlier this year for the first time and i was blown away by the amount of "free" games i could download right away, it was alien to me that i could get so much stuff right away from my subscription....the discounts ...
Sony isn't struggling anywhere Belking, they are dominating everywhere, actually. Japan would never let a foreign console sell better than the home variety like MS has with the PS4.

No console is perfect at launch. I haven't had any problems personally, nor has anyone i know.... but i guess that's not surprising given the small number of defective PS4's compared to the record breaking amount of units sold.
The Vita isn't going anywhere Belking, as much as you want it to judging from your comments. Vita owners aren't starving for games, there are plenty if actually take the time to see for yourself...add to those games remote play with PS4 games (arguable the best next gen feature), id say now is a great time to own a Vita.

Hmmm, let me think...do i want to own Rainbow six vegas/AC2 or do i want to keep Bioshock Infinite/AC3/Far Cry 3/DMC/Uncharted 3/LBP/Infamous 2 as long as i have a PS plus sub?....And let's be honest, what reason would anyone have to NOT renew their PS plus sub? Lol, WHAT?! That's only clear to you and the 4 agrees you have, the PS4 version of BF4 is the superior console version....fact. The PS4 version runs at 1600x900p as opposed tp the X1's 1280x720p.....and the PS4 version also holds 60fps way more than the X1 despite already running at a higher resolution.

I don't know how YOU read this title/article but it's talking about BOTH consoles selling 1000 units per minute at peak.....that means our hobby is doing very well. Read the article/title properly for once.
PS4 dominates in Japan, MS doesn't stand a chance. Japan would never let another a foreign console dominate in their home country like the PS4 does in the US.
MS might as well just stop focusing any of their money/attention in Japan, they don't want what MS has to offer.

I remember that article and its deceptive headline. What it was actually saying if you take the time to read it carefully is that compared to last gen, Watchdogs on the X1 will be superior, the title makes it seem like it was saying compared to PS4 too....when i wasn't. Anything the X1 can do in-game, the PS4 can match with ease. I wonder if Ubi will aim for parity or use the PS4 power advantage like most other multiplats have.
