great piece of kit, got 2 myself. now id love to see more software taking advantage of its accuracy.
so far favorite games for it are killzone 3, tumble, the fight (the head tracking thing though is highly annoying) and also sports champions.
@below ive only played heavy rain demo with move. i wish i had played the whole thing on it when i had it. should pick it up again and try
messi>>>>ronaldo but not >>> than alex kidd :P
thats great news. especially in this day an age of complex tech its nice they trying to simplify things this way. very welcome move by sony
that explains it i guess. maybe square should focus on retaining their talents that made them so succesful in the first place.
thanks for the update
agreed. when i first bought mys ps3 i was in a dilemma cause i wanted to also play gears, lost odysee and dead rising. now the only game that interests me on xbox is gears 3. im not interested in the slightest for other upcoming xbox titles
why dont just quit screwing around square-enix and start getting creative and make something thats actually FUN to play. i havent played a decent game from you guys yet this gen (on ps3- lost odyssey i havent yet played but id like to)
hold on are we moving backwards or forwards when it comes to tech? i dont know about you but i much prefer the latter
yeah im excited that this "spiritual successor" has a lot more in common with demon souls than i thought it would have. either way i would love to play whatever from software comes up with next.
i was a huge fan back in the day of fighting fantasy books and both demon souls and this looks like it takes a lot of inspiration from them so bring it on :)
yeah it such a secret that only microsoft themselves would believe it. only thing i cant wait to play on xbox that i cant find anywhere else is gears 3.
im looking forward to this!
was a great show overall but i do think the ps3 could have had a little more love. perhaps they should have done a mini montage of many of the games that werent shown, at least to keep our appetities wet. if they finished the show with a mini montage containing just teasers of twisted metal, tlg, agent, ffv13 and a few others it would have been a perfect conference for me.
and also where the hell was sorcery?
its a good direction for kinect.but they really need to show off the goods as promised from last years e3. unfortunately i still think the kinect is laggy and the implementation into core games will make them worse rather than enhance the experience.
i guess time will tell
im suprised no one has picked up on the new ps tv. thats crazy cheap for a 3d tv. id like to see the specs for it. it sounds too good to be true, wished they spoke a little more about it.
i guess i felt a little short changed from the overall conference for ps3 games. most of the games were expected they would show and mostly first party. but then again i can understand why theyd choose to show off there 1st party line up.
@redgehammer
with all due respect e3 is and should always be for "that type of gamer" that microsoft stuck their middle finger too. its not as if the casuals would be waiting to watch the e3 conference live.
their conference screams to me that they now know where the money is. they now know that casual gaming is a massive market and thats where they will be allocating their resources. i have nothing to look forward to from microsoft anymore they speak to ano...
for the love of gamers what the hell is wrong with these people? e3 has and always will be a showcase for the core gamers. they come up and show us crap that no casual will see until they hit the stores. seriously if you a microsoft fanboy you should be ashamed. other than gears 3 i saw nothing in that conference that screams quality
thanks + helpful bubble
@ kroganwrex.
wow. please enlighten me sir as to why you think this was a pretty good show explain to me why on earth you think that wasnt a middle finger to gamers everywhere. if i wanted a kids show for toys id go to the fisher price convention.
that conference was beyond ridiculous. a "new" trilogy for the 360 and they show halo 4. last time i checked e3 was always the best place to show off your new goods and interesting ips to be released to the public. that w...
good article. dreamcast 2 would be awesome! one can dream right?
shaping up to be another beauty to my evergrowing collection
you possibly cant believe the crap youu spew out! i was excited about kinetic pre launch and having seen what its done so far im far from impressed. the move on the other hand has soo much potential as a piece of tech. the only thing missing is proper software to show this off. same can be argued for kinect i suppose but even the games that showcase what it can do pale in comparison to a simple title like tumble!
