for me its gotta be Dark Souls. other than the dodgy online servers this game is flawless for me. having said that uncharted 3 would be 2nd for me and i have yet to pick up skyrim. its been a great year in gaming and for that im a happy chappy!

its the most hated because true gamers appreciate progress and attempts to please us as gamers. cod does none of the above. they overcharge us for a game (which in my opinion is quite fun) that hasnt progressed at all over the years, using same game engine same textures same everything. its the same reason i dont buy games like fifa , pro evo on a yearly basis. when i see no attempt for improvements or actual care in a product then i feel cheated especially when the prequel has sold way too m...

i hated ornstein and smough was the only boss i summoned assistance for! dark souls is so far my goty by far. just picked up uncharted 3 and will be playing it later so will be interesting to see if it tops dark souls for me, but just like in 2009 where demons souls was my favorite game of the year i have a feeling the same will occur this year. trully worthy of its awesome reviews

a little off topic comment but any help would be appreciated. ive never played an elder scrolls game before but im more than likely to pick up skyrim. is there anything im missing in terms of story in the series or are they all independant from each other?

goty for me thus far by far. its late into the morning and ive just had a huge dark souls marathon on my day off and now cant wait till tomorrow afternoon to get back into it.
im loving every single annoying death and triumph i accomplish. i trully hope this sells in the millions such that from software can start developing a new one ASAP.

my game of the year so far. so immersive so powerful and just getting sucked into the fantasy world and environment is just sublime. gameplay is solid and the key to the gameplays success is actually being able to beat the game with your wits and good weapon management. loving it so far
ive only played this game since last night, and i personally dont see how this could get anything other than top marks.
ive lost sooo many times and im still striving to beat it without a guide or hints.
this as well as demons souls are my favorite games this gen. trully a masterpiece

i think a fair and just solution is getting all dlc for the game free with a one off download code to your console (for first hand buyers). if any second hand users like the game and wanna buy some dlc kudos to the game company for making a decent game.its not really worth buying new games cause most of them are still broken and need patching too soon after release. later buyers (and i dont mean people who buy the game 1 year later) get the game cheaper with most patches sorted and even somet...
