i might get lucky and pick it up tonight
fingers crossed
no no no.
your opinion is trash and not well thought out.
what better way to sell new hardware by taking advantage of the newly found power, ESPECIALLY for your flag ship system sellers.
the last of us actually has amazing gameplay. the story is a bonus. Detroit has suprisingly good gameplay to me also, although yes the story is what carried that game, it was still at least fun to play. Cant say the same thing about until dawn which was an actual bore, even though the story seemed interesting
since ive yet to play it i cant judge his assesment on the story. But frankly i dont care. i play video games for the GAMEPLAY. decent stories are a bonus, not a necessity
its a video game not a movie. a story is a bonus. ive played tons of awful storied games that were fun as hell.
next gen is here baby
in 2 days...
oof thats a big claim. i guess ill find out on Friday
try as best you can to stop buying chinese products. everytime i purchase anything no matter how smalll, i always try to make an effort to find alternatives to chinese made , slave labour and genocidal crap from the ccp.
obviously its not always possible these days but every little helps
there is a special place in hell for people who dont recognise Taiwan as a country.
Taiwan is the real china. the actual democratic belonging to the people china. not that knock off horrible place where they have the least amount of freedom probably second only to North korea.
Taiwan #1
yes
game breaking bugs prevented me from enjoying the latest one. ill try return to it again to give it a go properly but i have a really sour taste in my mouth already from it
looking forward to replay this on my ps5
go watch mark cernys deep dive again about the hardware. traditional ways of thinking on how to make your games has changed and anchors have been lifted in many aspects. when you developing for both systems, that anchor is put in again so whats the actual point of getting new hardware?
sigh here we go again. the games will not be the best they can possibly be because you really are being anchored down to old systems.
i think it makes sense for gt7 to be cross gen ( i mean how much different is it really to develop car sims then and now). But gow2 for sure dissapoints me. way to miss the mark
whats the point if you are building a game around limitations of last gen tech. i dont care for better lighting and wave effects if at the core game will have to revolve around specific coding architecture to be able to run on both. let loose the shackles of last gen and let next shine on its own merits
not the point but thanks for that weird flex
100% agree @cs7 . 1st party devs need to be set loose on the new hardware to learn the ins and outs of it. focusing on cross gen for their new games, delays the process of optimising for new hardware far longer
it is bad no matter how you spin it. im what some people would call here a "sony fanboy" . i want whats best for the system, and cross gen isnt it. im sorry it sucks for ps4 owners but if you dont have 1st party companies going ham on the new hardware and going all out on it, who will? 3rd parties?
those instant loads are really the best thing about current gen. keep them coming!
