I used to be a big action figure person when I was a kid in the 80s...for some reason I like the statues.
But I've sold most of mine and now just collect Assassin's Creed :)
I know...I've tried to limit myself, but I've got Resident Evil, Assassin's Creed, Tomb Raider figures. My wife won't let me have them out in the open, so where do I put them??
But if you've seen the Assassin's Creed Australian one in the flesh, it really is well done. Hopefully this one is too.
The fact is that Australia has had 'game shows' before, but nothing of this scope. Next year looks huge with PAX and EB Expo. Can there be 2 big shows in Australia?
Hopefully so. But I fear that publishers will choose one or the other and both might suffer.
It is a very strange thing. Let's piss off the media who report on our games.
It's like they've decided media will always be negative toward COD games so they want word of mouth from consumers to be their promotion.
Wow MOH Warfighter won game of the show. Wouldn't have expected that
I was at EB Expo last year and there were some amazing cosplay people, but there looks to have been a lot more this year.
Love that assassin girl!
I think he just wanted to rush through it to say "I did it in...". Anyone who explores and takes the time to play it creatively will probably find lots to do.
Open games always can at least have the possibility of longer gameplay...not like the hand holder linear corridor shooters that are about the same as they are intended to be.
Yes exactly. I think that the current gen machines can still produce great games if devs tried to use them for some new stuff instead of just rehashes.
I hope risk is rewarded for Bethesda and Arkane here.
I'm so glad to see that this game is as good as it looked to be.
I can't wait to play it and I hope enough people buy it to show that new IPs that are quality and offer something interesting and fresh are supported!!!
I wasn't sure Metro would be up there with the big boys but it looks like it will be pretty good.
Some amazing games coming up: Assassin's Creed 3 is sounding amazing. Halo 4 is also sounding fun.
Not too many crap games seem to be coming up actually.
Chopping people up into unrealistic chunks of polygons looks naff to me.
I personally can't get into this. No matter how outrageous and silly MGS can get, it doesn't look this ridiculous. This game is like Devil May Cry trying to take itself seriously
I'm glad they've gone for immersion over 'boss battles', aim for weaknesses, rinse, repeat.
Medal of Honor really is seeming to be more than I thought it would be...another cash cow sequel.
Splinter Cell is interesting too.
I hope the single player is better than the last COD and Battlefield games...
DLC is a mixed bag: some of it is so worth it and extends interest in the game (eg Gears 3), but some is just a rort.
It's hard for consumers to know which is which as there is often less publicity and reviews done for them than the actual games.
This sort of reminds me of the fun of Timesplitters. I never played the first one.
I wonder if the focus on muliplayer will make the single player experience less enjoyable? Mind you most of these racing games are best against others.
Well I know the Assassin's Creed 3 statue edition has almost sold out, so this one probably will too.
