So both versions are same? This is phenomenal news.
Holy hell, I literally was playing this last week on my gamecube.
What funny review lol. Did this guy play the whole game on a frame counter? I’m not sure how he can possibly know how many frames he dropped by just looking at the screen lol.
I though you would’ve mentioned the timer of the demo.....but to each their own.
Yea I’m the same bro, I usually turn off RT on every game on my PS5 that allows it.
I thought MS was in talks to buy them or did that fall thru?
Edit:
Never mind I just read up on it that it did fall thru.
Understandable, I hope these minor issues are ironed by time the game is released this Friday.
Also, the internet is running wild with the demo of this game. We have no idea how old this build is.
I’m about 14 hrs in right now, and I haven’t experienced one crash yet.
There’s screen tear in the Series X version?
Just saw the VG tech video, it aligns much better on what this guy was trying to say and show in his original video.
I agree, not only was it a very misleading title, but even the article itself he didn’t clarify the difference between RT on vs RT off, when the author of the actual video did.
Which makes me believe that this was done intentionally to gain more traffic on their site. I really dislike when this happens, because this misinformation causes a whole bunch unnecessary bickering between the Sony and MS camp.
I’m fine amigo, apologies if I came off too aggressive.
If you watch the actual video instead grabbing quotes all of the time, you will see that both versions performs the same when RT is turned on.
I mentioned in my previous comment, that maybe I missed something in the video.
To keep the fanboy’s at bay here. Both the PS5 and Series have the same performance. With ray tracing turned off both systems are locked at 60fps, with ray tracing turned on both systems drop in frames about the same. I’m not sure how the person that made video came to the conclusion that Series X performs better when RT is turned on. Maybe I missed something in the video, but both versions were dropping the same amount frames when RT is turned on.
In any case this is just ...
I tried to enjoy it, but I hated the fact as soon as the demo started I had to start running because of that stupid timer.
But in end, I did enjoy it. I know this is just a demo, but I hope the final product you can dismember the lycans, like you did the molded in RE 7.
I’m fan of all consoles, and I have both next gen systems. With that being said, I will be lying to myself to say that I’m bit disappointed in Series’s X right now.
I’m confuse, I thought the Japanese version of RE 8 was censored?
Oh boy, this is not going to sit well with a lot of ppl.
Edit:
I will say this, it’s tough to purchase some games at full price. Sometimes the best choice is to wait for a sale.
Yea, it looks like Sigma 2 is still censored. What dumb decision on Team Ninja’s part.
I guess the only disappointing thing for me is that they once again toned down the dismemberment in this game, which is unfortunate. I believe one reviewer mentioned that in one their reviews.
Regardless I got the game coming tomorrow.
