Count me in, that thicc boy is too damn cute.
Because showcase mode with one player is boring as all hell. Showcase was at its best when it featured a cast of playable characters. Focusing in on one is a snooze fest.
And why not have him on the cover? He's one of the biggest money drawers in the company. Most of the fans like him (although I'm a bit on the fence) so I think he's an ok choice.
Also Gilberg. Now there's a man I can respect.
Haha I had the same happen to me with the Mercy playing tennis / racquetball spray! It is frustrating to say the least.
It's a pain for sure. I'd be ok if they were pay walling legends, or inactive guys, but to paywall one of the biggest names on the roster and not make him available to the base game buyers until months later is a bit silly.
Which would make him not available in the BASE GAME.....
I understand that Bethesda is a business and I know this remastered version didn't just appear with one click of a mouse, so work was done to make it happen, but I don't see how Bethesda can rationalize the price. The graphical update is nothing to write home about and the use of mods is still something they haven't solved on one of the two consoles.
I love Skyrim, but this edition by itself isn't enough for that 60 USD sticker.
I wouldn't count on the mods quite yet. The mod scene on PS4 is pretty shaky at the moment. Hopefully it gets sorted out before the launch of this title. If not, people are not going to be happy.
Oh! I actually really like the extra map idea, man. That would be pretty cool. I adored the one that came with the original game. I just don't see the push that this game needs for the full 60 USD price tag.
Attracts more Pokemon to it.
@Pong
That's exactly how I felt in the situation, man. I wanted to sit there and argue with him, but I didn't want to make a scene in a public place. I'd like to think I'm a bit better than that. Haha.
I totally understand that point of view. For me to afford PSVR, I started putting me money away every week. I respect the fact that even though it's not financially possible for you to pick it up, you don't just wrote it off as trash or uninteresting.
I agree. That's what the piece actually states. People of all interests levels have valid opinions on their interests and just because someone disagrees with you, doesn't make them less valid.
Hahaha that got a good chuckle from me.
I can't wait for tomorrow to get here so that I can wander my neighborhood a bit! The commute to my summer college course is going to be fun!!!
Then choose a different one. It's just a username. :)
Same here. I've loved all my experiences with VR and have owned many consoles across many manufacturers. Guess we didn't make the cut in this GameStop employee's eyes! Haha.
@apocalypse
I think you hit the nail on the head. As a manager of a gaming store, you really shouldn't be bagging on the interests of your customers to the extent of literally discrediting their opinions with a statement like that.
The beautiful thing about video games is that we can all be engrossed in them, but play and enjoy completely different genres from one another. Statements and mindsets like the one that employee had are bad for the gaming ...
Your sediments are what we say in the piece itself, brother. The author argues that the term "real gamer" isn't really a thing and that people from all walks of video game consumption have valid provide valid opinions.
We're arguing the same point with different verbiage.
I mean, he has the right to his opinion, but to make a blanket statement like that is pretty silly.
Again, this piece isn't a reaction to just that incident, it's more of a reaction to the idea of "I'm a 'real gamer', I know what everyone wants."
Lmao! That would be so demoralizing!
