At this point in time it should be about the technical side of things. The critics and gamers have long determined if the game was good or not. Not sure who the reviewer is targeting with this review.
Got to the last level before the main boss and quit. By the time you would have beaten this in the arcade you would have spent $60 in quarters. It gets ridiculously difficult.

Well it looks as though 50 others agreed with his assessment and then there is you. Not sure why he needs to explain the obvious to the minority. You'll figure it out or maybe you will never.
My only concern with the sequel is the story. Hopefully it is on par with the original story which was very unique to say the least. No doubt the gameplay will get an enhancement.
I think I will pass on the demo because it's a game that will be a day one purchase. No need to spoil any of it for myself.
No one is forcing you to buy the sequel so not sure what point you were trying to make.
I was playing Doom Eternal on the PS5 the other day which I bought digitally and I had to turn off the network connection because it would not let me start the game without signing in to Bethesda. Maybe an hour or so after playing my game locked up and I was required to connect to the network so that my license could be verified. Not sure if this has happened to anyone else but it sure caught me by surprise.

On subject not sure why I had so many disagrees. I finished the game and was left confused by the ending. She never was on another planet. She never really became an actual astronaut. Maybe Selene is the daughter while we play as the mother. These are my interpretations.

At the end of the me day I don’t have to buy it at full price so that’s how I will handle this.
They want $60 just like a AAA experience so I’m not cutting any slack. FOH with the cradling. It’s always this maybe a little later for every game. Release it when its done properly.

I think this goes without saying. They have to play so many games in such a short window of time.
C'mon now. That is just poor skills by the developer because in no way should this game not be 4k/60 across all platforms.
From someone who has beaten the game I would like to clarify some things.
1. I agree that a save mode that expires after you die would have been of benefit especially early on as you figure the game out.
2. Once you get past the first biome and to the boss of the 2nd biome the game begins to shorten in length having short cuts and portals getting you back to a boss fight quickly.

Game Pass will be put to the test once MS starts dropping those mind blowing exclusives that they spoke of. If they are indeed putting high dollars into producing them they will likely hike up the price of Game Pass to cover that.
