Well devils advocate , these are shipped numbers, I mean Sony still got the money for the ps5s but it does say shipped and Vg I think are meant to be sold but who knows.
It's crazy numbers anyway and the new spiderman outsold the new Mario game with less than half the install base of the switch which is insane when you think about it, considering it was meant to be the fastest selling Mario ever and spiderman 2 beat it.
The fact they are talking about a trailer and things is weird because it seems most of the news about the game makes it seem pretty far away still, for example the AI tech you mentioned but then add onto that the fact they just started saying that the voice acting won't be effected by the actor strikes, now to me that seems like they aren't even close to finished with the game yet. I'm expecting it to be released in 2025.

Thats the problem though, all it takes is only a small number of rich but stupid people that buy all this crap and they rake in the money, even if 99 percent of all gamers say no, the 1 percent spending $15,000 each on these games makes it so it won't go away.

Wow is too damn easy but ff14 is not ? Hmmmm I guess I played a different ff14 because I've done the hardest raids available in it and it was far far easier than mythic difficulty raids on wow.
It's not just about character controls though, adons are pretty much mandatory now to help make sense of the 16 million abilities each boss and mob group has, if it was just the controls that were the problem I would say it would be pretty easy, you can play WoW easily with a controller now, but you still need adons.
Nah I really don't see that happening, they would have to make all the raids already out and all the mythic dungeons far far far easier, they are harder now because they have to account for adons and things, they have said that themselves. I think they would have to pretty much remake all raids and dungeons from WoTLK onwards, and we all know blizzard hates having to actually work.
I will be watching to see what happens but it seems to me it wouldn't happen unless ...
