I would be mad if Valve showed an xbox cover first. I would give up hope on the game. I am pretty sure it will be a pc game first.

I think 1080p 30fps will be the standard. Devs will want to utilize more power instead of having every game at 60fps. I think more games will have 60fps but most probably not.
Then PC gamers will make fun of you playing in 1080p while they are playing in 1920x1200 and the end of next gen consoles they will be playing on 4k monitors.

PC games has really start to change consoles future games.
WiiU, Smart Glass, PSVita & 3dS all now have touchscreen like a smart phone. But Smart phones don't try to be like psVita's or 3ds's.. just saying Console makers are reacting to the smart phone boom & not the other way around.
