@acekaze: It supports widescreen but not ultrawide. I tried 3440*1440 to test that and the game adds black bars at the sides.
Thanks for the heads-up by the way!
Updated!
Mea culpa, I uploaded the wrong files. Updating!
Piracy isn't keeping publishers in check. Legit customers are. Current gen consoles (excluding the Wii U) haven't experienced piracy, yet we don't pay twice as much for games released in those platforms...
Well, that's what the article is about... If you dislike Denuvo you can just skip games that use that technology. That's not wrong, and doesn't make you pro-piracy.
I get that people pirate to save money, but if they have the cash to build a gaming computer, then there are no excuses for piracy. There are thousands of 100% free (not free to play) games out there. Play that while waiting for a sale on paid games, problem solved.
You should read the text again then. I'm not supporting Denuvo. I understand that it's a pain in the rear for some users, and in an ideal world all games would be DRM-free.
What I support is people buying games they want instead of downloading them for free and not supporting the developers. What I support is people choosing to buy or not buy a game in order to send a message to the big corporations.
Wanna know what I don't support? People using excuses...
Denuvo has a bad reputation, yes. It's useful though, and the big corporations don't care about some people disliking their practices if they see that a big amount of users is pirating their games. They will try to protect their interests with DRM solutions, that's the way things have always been.
If you dislike Denuvo, then you could simply ignore games protected by that tech, and that would send a real message. Pirating them only says "hey, my only real p...
Indeed!
Well, that's the thing. You don't need to buy a game if you hate Denuvo. You can just ignore it and play one of the hundreds of other titles that don't include that software.
Disliking a DRM solution and wanting to boycott publishers that use it is perfectly fine, but pirating games with the excuse of "it uses Denuvo" is not.
Thanks!
In this case, it was already out for PC, but as a bonus for Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition buyers (Windows Store exclusive)
It's coming to the Windows Store as a separate download too, but it won't be compatible with the Steam version.
Free? It won't be free, the developers have announced that it will cost US$ 19.99 (a more than reasonable price, considering the game's quality)
Good news! The game will cost US$ 19.99 on Steam.

Yeah, I purchased the Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition package on the WinStore, but if this release costs $20 or less, I'll pick it up on Steam as well.
Not all PC gamers. Please don't put everyone in the same bag.
Yup! The entire series is amazing (as anything developed by Nihon Falcom, to be honest) Really glad this is coming to PC.
The PC version is VERY good. Why would it have a nonexistent player base?
