@CalvinKlein
I want to live in a world where Faburary is a real thing.
Weird because I don't think he ever said my girlfriend sucked at gaming.
Hey Liz, you're a liar.
How about instead of knee jerking your way to the front of N4G, how about actually analyzing what he said and really taking it for what it is.
It's been made very clear that he didn't mean it the way you and other gossip columnists are painting him. If the intent was good and nobody was hurt then why is it a big deal?
You're not but you are definitely contributing to it. The reason this type of stuff gets me mad because it has been happening so much as of late.
These are people, real people, they have feelings and family. What he said is perfectly fine and shouldn't be painted as anything sexist. Which you may or may not mean to do, but calling him dumb for typing up a comment does not help.
Here's a quote from your article.
"It implies th...
Randy Pitchford tweeted that the "skill in question gives a chance for missed shots to reflect and hit the enemy".
That doesn't sound anymore noob friendly than adding dexterity to an RPG character. Hell Salvador's final ability increases his damage resistance by 90%, by this logic that is far more casual friendly.
This article is trying to stir up crap, don't let it.
That's convenient because I found this article to be the dumbest article ever.
Stop promoting sensationalist crap, this is the equivalent of an OK! article. The guy said something and it's being taken out of context. This isn't gender equality, let's please decide as a community not to make this a thing.
The guy said something that could be construed as something wrong when given to the news hungry. Don't rape someone over the coals becaus...
Well to be fair not posting anything would result in a revenue loss. I don't like it as much as the next person, but when there isn't much news--people tend to try their best to find news. Even if that means reaching to the point of almost fabrication.
Blame the add based model. This isn't a special issue with the video game industry, it's pretty much the same across the board.
Just know it'll probably end soon, come fall hopefully news wi...
If that were the case why wouldn't Don clear that up? From what I read he seemed rather caged about it.
We've already seen the tech demos, why tease if that was all?
Agreed, even ignoring the story you can just see the website and it raises flags.
If they want me to buy a handheld and games, they need a cleaner looking interface.
Another thing I found nice about this was the possible PR.
Sure we already have some folks going out there preaching the good word of video games, but it's nice to always have another player. I think even though games are becoming more normal for the general public, we still have a lot of ground to cover in the AAA/hardcore section and anyone trying to put video games in a better light is alright by me.
I do hope next year's E3 really spices things up. Maybe I'm spoiled but after PlayStation's Press Conference last year, I was really underwhelmed this year.
I disagree, but I guess that's because I'm a diehard MGS fan. :P
Oh criticism I get, criticism I can stand behind. It just feels like this goes way beyond criticism to the point where it's just pointless insults.
I think there is a middle ground. Where someone can be tough but fair without insulting the creators or the amount of work they have put into something. I think a lot of journalists these days are walking way over that line. That's my problem.
Also the developers didn't hurt anyone, nor is the product ...
Love that you mentioned the Mass Effect 3 ending. It seems like right around then journalists went overboard with their criticisms. And agreed with Kotaku being off their rocker. Did you see what they said over the whole Hitman thing? The developer apologizes for that nun trailer they posted and Kotaku fires back with a headline that basically read "Developer apologies over STUPID trailer" and then ripped into the developer even more.
I mean where do they get off? I...
It's all noise to me. As long as 3D remains an option I won't complain.
Now if it becomes the standard, that is when I'll raise some hell.
I don't know about that. The first part of Sony's press conference seemed to zoom on by.
Idk about that, I'd love a Wii-stream.
We had an article that said the New York Times got the list, but nothing on if Sony was actually going to comply with it, or do their own thing.
I know I personally thought that Sony was going to use their press conference to address those questions. Instead we got a really long bow.
Can almost guarantee it'll be on disc.
If only.....if only
I mean this game COULD be a candy bar.
But I seriously doubt candy technology has advanced this far.
