Why are you being skeptical of The Witcher 3 dev team? this isn't EA. They sent out nice bonuses with the retail game. Gave a thank you letter for supporting them. They gave tons of free DLC. And many people compare the paid DLC as true expansions that can even be their own standalone games.

You need to stop taking it in literal terms. Obviously they aren't forcing taking money out of you but they make you pay more for something you don't want. Imagine if you were only able to buy an Xbox One or PS4 if you bought it with an extra controller and with a Netflix subscription. Not everyone wants that crap

My favorite console of all time was the PS1. I have had so many great games on there and many of them still continue to live today. It was my first console ever and it is what made me become a gamer. I cannot wait to see what the future holds in gaming.
