If you would applied this as a opinion is one thing. But to apply it as fact is just dumb. 1st person shooters are some of the most popular games every year. And even though you say it's tired the fact remains it is not and just as popular as it ever has been.
Regardless how much twitch streamers was paid to stream it and hype it up. Such as even using pirate costumes to make it fun. The game is garbage, and hype will ware off. A way out is 20 times the game as SOT.

Not only does GOW have a following in a busy time of they year for exclusives on the PS. It's not competing for people starving for something to play, hence SOT. And the difference will be GOW will amazing and SOT will still be mediocre. LOL

MS calls the shots. As much as you would hate to admit it. MS Pushed SOF out the door, they showed it early and made rare to make a deadline. Which they couldn't finish, sure give them another year and much more content would be available. But anyone knows that's not how MS works unlike Sony. I have to disagree. Actually BF and COD do a fairly good job at single player.
Basically you're saying you just stink at multiplayer games. There is campers on any platform and any multiplayer game, so stop crying and get better. I have no clue of what you mean by spammers, spammers are someone that just spams weapons, grenades etc waiting for someone to come around a corner etc. I have never had to deal with in any multiplayer game. I love both single and multiplayer games. But Multiplayer has longer longevity in most cases then playing a single player game. Sure, single player can tell a great story and have a great adventure and i love single player games for that. But, repeated plays is not one of them. Sure you might play it twice or even maybe 3 times in rare cases. Which nowadays amount to about 35 to 50 hours on typical single player games on 3 playthroughs. But a good multiplayer wil...
Combat stale you say? Probably cause you're a causal and just played it one time on the default setting. Try going back and bumping up the difficulty, night and day difference.

Well the problem is, this can be applied to any game as i stated above. Gears, UC, COD, Battlefield etc.
And another thing to hit on. It's usually casuals saying the combat is boring cause they play on normal and just repeatedly hit square. Here is a tip, go back and put on a harder mode and lets see where button mashing gets ya.
