In the article they seem to be talking just about the multiplayer, which is 60fps. I'm still sure the single-player is 30fps, but I hope I'm wrong!

I'm pretty positive that AC4 is 1080p 30fps on single-player and 60fps in multiplayer.
Hopefully, we get more gameplay but I'm worried we'll see 900p on Xbox One. With Dead Rising 3 being 720p/30fps as an open world game I would be surprised if AC4 is 1080p on the Xbox One, but hopefully I'll be surprised. Its looking goos from this video!
Crank up the contrast and sharpness it'll make those textures really "pop".
The Xbox 360 and PS3 also supported 1080p 60fps games. However, this is completely irrelevant if most of the games aren't 1080p 60fps.

Pathetic, I don't know who's to blame Microsoft for not giving them long enough with a dev kit or DICE for being scared to show their own game on the console.
Hopefully, they can find a solution even if it means some dlc later on. Naval battles would be epic, hasn't Battlefield 4 got waves that appear the same to each player. If so, it shows it is a feasible idea.
