yep most of these sites are biased now days kinda goes with the whole capitalistic thing. They get an exclusive wich generates interest and profit for the review site who in turn give the game a favorable review wich helps sell the game... think circle of life...
This is pretty normal and has its natural checks and balances ie a review company cant give a gawdawful game a stellar review or they will lose their fanbase rather quickly... Now what I find interesting is the idea of a revie...
Have yet to see one doubt very much we'll get one unless $ony ponies them some $$$ or outsells the xbox or maby if their xbot CEO gets sacked.

Your a lot better off with a mid ranged box has most games are geared to work on them anyways (besides the difference between the medium settign and the best is pretty negligible on most games.
Still if you really want a top of the line pc build it yourself not only will you save dough but you'll never have to worry about going to a stupid repair shop.
Better yet buy a ps3 or xbox and save yourself e a lot ...
Man I still play the original now and then cant wait to see this on the shelves only problem is Im so tapped out I prob wont be able to buy this till next year...

the 2nd one was epic maybe not has polished has ff7 but a lot of fun especially the fights.
Kinda hope they do port it to the xbox tho if they stay true to series it wont be a high powered game so why not share the luv?
edit the only real reason for the exclusive must be to drive the Jap sales which this game will do like 10x more than gt4 would here if it were exclusive...
i doubt if M$ will shed any tears over not having to replace a xbox lol it was prob their idea for them to post it ;)
ya if it was being ported by anyone other than EA Id prob get it for the ps3 but with U3 rolling out first this game will bomb.
Besides team fortress is the only sell on this set and it looks like so much rehashed crap. I mean portal looks totally gay and half life rules but you can buy the original on pc for a fraction of the price.
The only sell I can see for this are the xbox owners waiting for something to do b4 halo 3 or the odd die hard gamer trying to relive their half l...
They should have noted this is a preventative measure once the boards warped it ain't fixable. Also only a good idea if the warranty is already voided. I mean why muck around when you'll get a new system form M$ if it dies...
My dads on his 3rd machine now and finally considering a ps3 with a little luck we'll b playing u3 online soon. Showed him RFOM and he was pretty much sold lol.
Lair rocks great game great controls fantastic graphics and way less glitchy than Oblivion... Heck Ive been gaming since the com64 days (had over 500 games lol) so being hardcore doesn't stop me form being able to enjoy the game. So many ppl who have played it love it go check the reviews on gamefaq or any other fan based review sites and the game is never ranked lower than 8. The only thing that makes sense is bribes that or the rumor that most of the reviewers got a glitchy prerelease copy...
I gota agree having spent more than a few hours in the game. (ok maby more like 8/10)It is insanely fun and aside from a little jag on some of the crazier scenes the graphics are flawless.
Still cant help but get the feeling the SonyDefenderSite might be a little bias tho. (that or some very convoluted joke)
ya the 360 never was strong anywheres other than NA good to see ps3 climbing hopefully well get a lot more titles now that the tide is changing.
Anyone thinking of setting up linux on their ps3 should check out ubunto first they have like 5 flavors just for the ps3. Set up xubunto on mine and it screams. Faster than my duo core windows system at some stuff.
It should be noted that $ony has blocked full access to the guts of the machine with what their calling a hypervisor (or something) chip. Still a great machine for anyone who just wants a basic pc. Also if your a windows lifer and got a ps3 I really recommend trying it out L...
I dont know where these reviewers get off but everyone I know who's tried it likes it. Controls are good some might even say organic and the graphics are way above par I mean oblivion was 10X more glitchy but still got decent reviews. Just another xbot reviewer along for the anti lair ride.
If they nail the fighting on this and clean up the glitches im def in Has a single player game its a pretty old theme but has a MMOG it has a lot of potential.

so glad i got the 60 gig version has soon has they dropped the price. Still expect a lot of those games to start working on the 80 gig version has they roll out more updates.
