I wouldn't say I "hated" it, but I honestly don't see what all the fuss was about either, I rode on some horse, fought the first boss and turned it off never to play again.
I HATE boss battles with a passion in gaming though so maybe that has something to do with it, in that that's all you do, climb and fight huge creatures right?

I have to wonder how these reviewers play this game, because I presume they sit in an office with a pad, NONE of these reviews I've read about GT5 have said anything about playing it with a wheel.

Anybody else getting like REALLY bored watching video's about GT5? I'm dying to play it but this has been the most pathetic launch for a video game ever, there's a serious lack of communication from the dev's to Sony to US.

The original Mafia is right up there in my favourite games ever made, a stunning cinematic experience, and although I loved this demo the anti-aliasing is pretty bad with a bit of frame rate stutter to go with it, not game breaking, and the game world looks incredibly detailed so hopefully it won't hinder enjoyment of the final game.
The dialogue is fantastic though with some awesome use of violence, and the playboy collectibles surely have to be the best collectibles in ...
I think DLC for this game fits perfectly in the episodic format the game was created with, plus if you're a fan of the game then subsequent episodes are fantastic to keep the story alive and as an excuse to stick the disk back in after completing it.
I just pray we get a full blown sequel, guess that's up to Microsoft now....

Wrong, completely different developer, Double Helix did Homecoming, this new game is by Vatra.
There are vague comparisons, but the main one to remember is Alan Wake controlled well, very intuitive, fast controls. Alone in the Dark controlled like a dog with broken hind legs imo.
