Not really the racing type, but the game sounds interesting.
Its been over ten years since Bungie worked on anything but Halo. It makes sense that they would take some time figuring out what they want to do and how to best bring that idea to life.
Never played the game, but I guess if that many people like it then it might be worth a shot?

Well that's kind of the point. I don't think Nintendo is giving consumers enough reasons to buy a Wii U. The last generation of console was defined, in part, by the decline of the console exclusive. Making every game platform agnostic forces all consoles to work the same way, which kind of defeats the purpose of having different consoles.
