Thanks, but no thanks!
I got this game when it released early a couple weeks ago and I have to say its actually got better gameplay in it than LBP2.
They fixed the floaty jumping and it's more accurate ( not that I minded it in LBP2)
Also the level designs are just amazing.
It's a must have for any vita owner and Sony should be bundling this game with EVERY vita because it uses every aspect of the vita and does it in a fun way.
So like, I like torchlight 2 ALOT... but didn't IGN give GW2 a 9.0?
No offense to anyone that likes either game (I like em both) but how the hell did TL2 get a better score than GW2... I really don't see how that's possible.
I wish people would stop addressing it as an MMO and comparing it to other games.
If GW2 was released as a console game it would still kick major @$$.
It's just a good game. It's only 60 bucks and I already have almost 100 hours into 2 characters.
I can't stop playing and when I take a break I won't have to worry about a subscription.
10/10 from me and GotY
SWTOR was an ok MMO. It really is a reskinned WoW clone but it is a decent game. It's not really fun after you hit a point the whole game is a chore.
GW2 hasn't felt like a chore yet and I already have more hours in it then I did SWTOR.
People that just like good games should give GW2 a shot.
I'm not PS3 Biased at all.
I own a PC, 3DS, Vita and XBox 360.
Hell not to mention an iPad and iPhone.
Sooooo yeah. Nothing to do with PS3.
Remember... Nintendo Power ceased production before and came back.
It might come back in some limited capacity.
Nintendo Power really did change the way gaming mags were done.
It's not the 'hate' brigade.
You won't find me complaining about insignificant things.
I want you guys to ask yourself.
What if the next Mario game, Mario was a blonde haired chef from Australia?
No wait Nintendo is actually smart and would never ever change a iconic and established character.
It's really a no brainer, people that liked the old games hate what they did to our characters th...
Man what a crap review. Go read it if ya want but the guy doesn't really like the genre so I don't know why he was stuck reviewing it. Plus it came out a month ago.
So basically if you don't like srpgs, you probably shouldn't review this title.
He also compared it to an iOS game. What?!
I have an iPad and there is not any iOS RPGs like this on it, so I really don't know what the hell he's talking about.
Ohh I see, calling someone a f-ing loser is an accident
Sweet
I'm still getting it
It's a stupid statement hear me out.
Valve for example... When sold through steam becomes your publisher.
Hell even if you sell your product yourself YOU ARE THE PUBLISHER.
EA became a publisher and was dev and publisher and still is...
Your completely wrong. It's not too expensive as there is no sub and most good sub games cost 50-60 bucks with only a month game time.
You are also wrong why most want to play GW2. It really has nothing to do with the name.. It has to do with gameplay.
MMO players, like myself, are looking forward to something new and GW2 is just that. It has all the features any MMO fan would like.
Having cosmetic items in a cash shop that can be purchas...
Ya hear that? Some kid watched the Mask and wanted to kill himself and took up smoking.
Seriously do u need someone to explain it for you?
I'm with you man. I love new stuff but not if it is counter intuitive. Why should something newer be more cluttered and take longer to access.
They lost their brains. 7 is where it's at. 8 might as well be ME
The more I hear about 8 the more I want nothing to do with it. Sucks cause I like new OSs usually. MS win 8 app based desktop sucks ass. Why would I use it? Taskbar is ten times easier than scrolling over your desktop four or five pages.
I'm smelling failure.
It really wasn't a surprise to most gamers that follow the mmo market. Also F2P is not the same as pay to win and whoever says that doesn't know crap.
No offense, but what 'love' is it getting? I have a Vita and Retro City Rampage looks cool, but the other stuff sucks.
I don't see it getting much love at all but I am guessing that will slooooowly change.
