Eye Toy is not mandatory its optional you need Kinect to power on the xbox one so far that is 100$ more than the PS4.Live is not much more developed they're both almost equal PSN+ has the edge you get free games for 50$ a year vs Xbox live 60$ 9 limited sharing with family members.That would be 450$ PS4 vs Xbox one 560$ Xbox one will be 160$ more than PS4 with close to equal services and inferior hardware so no it's not worth it at the moment PS4 is a far better deal.

Both Xbone and PS4 have the same architecture meaning do ports to either or console will be breeze.PS4 has the superior ram and GPU also 7 Gigs of GDDR5 and 100% of the GPU for games VS 5Gigs DDR3 on xbone and only 90% of it GPU will be available for games.
