@Sully
I'm not a fanboy. I have a preference because I like the ecosystem, but I like both systems for what they are. For me it's a controller preference, and online experience, and I'm also a graphics whore! I was all about PlayStation 1 and 2. I was a HUGE DreamCast fan! 2K sports were the shit back then. I even bought an Atari Jaguar thinking it would be graphically impressive. Spoiler, it wasn't.
I stayed with Xbox One this generation ...
Now if they had Warzone as exclusive, that would be a big deal....
With this, I don't think it's all that big of a deal anymore. But it's still a great grab
I feel like both fanboy camps are super biased. Whenever their respective team does it they say they are just fighting back, and if the other team does it they are corrupt monsters...
Listen, I think it's all fair in love and war. If Sony wants to buy exclusives, and Microsoft wants to buy companies, it's all fair. This is how the game has always worked. People shouldn't try to belittle Sony for buying exclusives, and people shouldn't try to insult Microsoft...
The sad part is they stated that it means less tweaks and optimizations for "one machine". So in another words they won't bother tweaking or optimizing Xbox since it's powerful enough to push through bad code, and instead they will optimize PS5 to match it...
Imagine if they optimized BOTH! Maybe used the extra power to increase graphic fidelity instead of using it to be lazy.
@TheProblem
Horizon 2 and GOW 2 are nowhere in sight... So we have Miles Morales a dlc standalone, Demon Souls, a remake, and Ratchet and Clank... I'm actually most excited for the Destruction Derby game
If these fit and look good enough I definitely want that matte black beauty!
I don't get it? So you want a free washing machine?
I don't think this show is for you.
I'm pissed I bought the regular version on PS4. I don't want the ultimate edition... Can we get MM Add-on separately?
I really like the neon and HDR, reminds me of Second Son and I loved that neon power
23 studios, most purchased within 2 years. A good game takes a little longer than that. Be patient.
If we can wait years for God of War to become a great game, then we can wait for these studios to produce...
PS, God of War is a great game... Didn't care for the earlier ones
Both systems are pretty light on decent exclusives this year, but Sony definitely has the edge right now
@pricey
I'm great, thanks!
Well, how much testing and console experience and expertise do you have compared to Digital Foundry?
I think console crossplay would be ideal. The option to turn off PC would be nice.
Ok so as you all get butthurt that I don't read articles about controllers, you are all ranting and raving about trigger resistance?
Jesus the bar is low here
No I meant YOU since you are knocking the Microsoft engineers and you are stating the is a margin of error that you are aware of that no one else seems to have noticed.
I'm just curious, you make a lot of claims, but what exactly makes you more knowledgeable when compared to the many console engineers these companies have?
Go slumming?
I'm confused what that means. You claim to buy the PlayStation because it has better exclusives. If Microsoft buys studios that you shortly love their games and they make them first party games, why wouldn't you buy an Xbox for it's exclusives?
@alb1899
Q90R here and it supports 4k120...
That being said I'd rather the best looking 4k60 solid framerate I can get. The extra polish is better than the extra frames to me
I haven't read up on the controller, so what is actually changed? Isn't it all just rumble?
@Sully and @Morgan
Actually, I don't prefer either one. I primarily game 3rd party on Xbox and LOVE PlayStation 1st party games. Anyway, last year their UI was crap, this year everyobe rants and raves after saying Xbox UI was bloated etc. Honestly, it's about the games. Always has been.
The fanboy stuff has to stop.
And yes, I'm in a position to buy everything and not care. I make 100k as an RN and 150k with a side business....
Good price? Yikes! If this is true than a 1tb is gonna cost around $300! Memory price doesn't scale well when you go bigger.
