Thousands of people saw it on YouTube before it got posted on N4G. I didn't know about it until last night when we heard the other team babbling on about some crazy cool javelin glitch. We figured out how they did it on our own. It spread by word of mouth first. Of course, it will probably get worse before it gets better now but, it will be fixed. We just have to deal with it until then.
Encountered it in 3 matches last night. One whole team was doing it. I thought it was funny at first, and obviously the players doing it were entertained but it wasn't that hard to stop them. My team just got into a corner out in the open and when we saw them barreling towards us, we'd take them out before they got too close. Their strategy failed entirely. Glad the glitch will be fixed anyway though.

I'm laughing as well. It's funny to me how some N4G users get so upset by someone's opinion, that differs from that of their own.
I enjoyed the first Mass Effect. But I don't think it was as good as everyone made it out to be, so the inevitable sequel did not make my list. I don't feel like stopping the gameplay again every time I want my AI partners to perform an action. It got way too repetitive.
Final Fantasy is not the type of game that appeals to me.
It is. But 360 owners haven't been fortunate enough to have a title like God of War. It's not like God of War will ever be released on the 360 so this is the next best thing.
That remains to be seen. Forza 3 holds the crown right now my friend. Will be pretty hard to beat it.
Obviously not that terrible if I listed Alan Wake just as you did. I should have mentioned Heavy Rain, that will be a good one too. I really enjoyed Indingo Prophecy. This post is obviously going to be touchy depending on your level of fanboyism.
We don't even know what Halo: Reach is yet, so how could it be on my list? Just because it's Halo?
You listed games we have all seen before. GT5 is just like PGR, just like Forza, etc. How many realistic racing sims and rally racing games do we really need? It gets old after a while.
I think the PS3 demo comes out tomorrow! Try it out. I'd love to get your opinion on it as well.
The economy is hurting everyone, we all know that. But my question is, are people getting over that initial "newness" of the Wii's motion controls? It was awesome at first yea, but how long will it last before gamers move on? I'm afraid it's already happening.

Did you buy or rent Call of Duty: World at War?
Reason I'm asking is, I'm wondering if you all are getting Call of Duty overload? Maybe you're just over the franchise in general? I'm thinking if I bought both COD4 and WaW (I refused to buy or even play WaW), I would be hesitant to buy another one so soon.
I still don't know if I will buy MW2 day one. I'll have to see more of it to make a final decision.

I agree, a majority of those boycotting right now will still end up buying L4D2. However, I do not plan on buying the sequel as of now. We'll have to wait and see what else Valve has in store for L4D2. I like how they added the Axe as a new weapon. That might get me right there if it somehow doesn't become boring after the first few kills.
And no, I am not one of the people hopping on the boycott bandwagon. I'm merely sharing a funny YouTube clip someone made regarding this topic...
hell yea! that's the part i wanted to talk about but thought it was something people should experience on their own. that part and some of the unexpected environments topped it all off. too funny.
The nerve to call out Bungie? I'm not calling anybody or any developer out. I merely stated the obvious that Infinity Ward and Bungie are completely different when it comes to DLC and keeping the community happy with new features for their games.
IW seems to just want to move onto bigger and better things while Bungie likes to stretch their games as far as they can go. There is nothing wrong with that, either way. Devs can do whatever they want with DLC. For IW, it made more sen...
Just rented it last night. I could barely get through the first hour. Was pretty bored.
I guess I just need more than your typical, and highly predictable FPS.
I put in Portal 2 right after, and was immediately relieved of my boredom.
Gamers need games that are unique. Not something that has been so overdone, and so over hyped.
