I think the Wii U is over shadowed by the next gen hype and this is normal. Nintendo did not significantly beef up their hardware from last time and from what I heard, these consoles that are coming up have a lot going for them. Except maybe the xbox with the forced Kinect.

I could really go for a sandwich right now...lol But seriously, the reason for this is because people feel safe when online. They feel like there are no real consequences to what they do online. Once these services start using your real identity like you-tube was trying to do...that is when things start to change.
Any developer that says they maxed out the hardware within one year of the release of the consoles deserves to get smacked. Just saying.

Saints Row is fun and I'd get both but not even CoD can beat GTA. GTA is where quality is always constant. Saints Row would easily fall.
I look forward to all things tech. I am a pc gamer and consoles getting stronger mean more potential for better games which means PCs will be pushed even further as well and this is good for everyone.

I just feel like it is the responsibility of the company to ensure that their device does well. From the success of the playstation 2, I do not doubt Sony could do great things; hence why I do not worry. What does worrying do for the company, anyway? I have seen hundreds of worry or doom articles and has it generated revenue for the PS vita? This is where my logic comes from.

I think if allowed, steam could be a software distributor on consoles. With xbox and ps wanting to make games locked to accounts, the least they could do is let the ridiculously awesome steam sales make their way to consoles too.
Of course this will never happen but I am just saying that if they want to lock games, we better start seeing 40 dollar if not less brand new games.
