@Qrphe
DSOgaming did talk about it, they stated it was based on the PS4 version, not the PC version.
"For what is worth, this version of the Elemental Tech Demo is based on the PS4 version, meaning that it does not feature the amazing Global Illumination effects that were showcased back in the early days of it."

Emulation on PC is not necessarily pirating.
As stated, you can purchase PS2 games and run them from the disc drive.
But let's be honest here, pirating an old game really possesses no significant consequences. For example, I'm typically against piracy, but even I decided to emulate MGS: The Twin snakes. And I don't think that's necessarily inconsistent, as you have to ask why someone is against piracy.

...I am impressed.
I for one, certainly respect his taste.
I'm sorry, but the prolonged conflict between the Hulk and Kratos would simply exacerbate the Hulk's rage--making the Hulk stronger.
@ ACESupERIC
That's great, the fact is your original post was comparing yourself to college students, in which you said you earn more money than some, without possessing the necessary qualifications.
You were essentially suggesting that one may not need qualifications in order to possess a higher salary--that's a fair point, but don't use personal experience as your argument.
I just wanted you realise that the point you've est...

Yeah, that's why you have disagrees...
Your point will hold substance if you can provide valid data which demonstrates no correlation between qualifications and salaries.
Kratos WAS a great character in the original God of war, after that, he became a terrible character, with no redeeming value. This is perfectly demonstrated at the end of God of War 3, where he learns that "the power of forgiveness come from within"(what a terrible line), yet proceeds to kick the shit out of Zeus.
580 here! Must say, this old work horse has served me well, so well in fact, that I will probably hold off until Maxwell comes out.
Which would make the 4th the successor, one need not die in order to be succeeded.
The PS4 is a successor, for it will replace the PS3 as Sony's flag-ship console, there's nothing wrong with that, but these analogies people are making, are terrible--because even the analogies have successors!
You do realise that the "Son" would be labelled as the King's successor?
Which happens to contradict the title...
Edit: Oh! You've now acknowledged that, good job!
Memoratus in aeternum.
We are all entitled to our opinions, though some are established on factual evidence.
It (the article) may have cleared the labels up, but that doesn't make it a great article.
"Both RAM types were designed for video memory" is plainly wrong, only GDDR5 was designed for video memory, and is a variation of DDR3, which was designed for system memory.
"GDDR is better" in a conventional manner, this statement is wrong, due to the fact it depends on what you are using the type of RAM for:

I can't stand playing Battlefield 3 in a competitive manner, especially when things like this occur frequently: http://www.youtube.com/watc...
It just makes the game incredibly frustrating, hopefully Battlefield 4 does the right thing- and gives us the option to have server-side hit detection.
@TheGamerDood Let me get this straight...
You think the VP of Epic games, who is essentially in the position of trying to sell an engine, would purposefully leave his engine unoptimised (and as a result potentially make it poor looking/not run very well) for "shits and giggles"?
@Plastica-man If you had decided to do some research, you would of known that MikeR is not Mark Rein, meaning Epic hasn't confirmed anything.
Evidence: http://beyond3d.com/showpos...
"No I'm not Mark - nor a Epic developer."
@Disagrees What more evidence could you want?
@MRMagoo123
"Or maybe the amount of agrees he gets are indicative of the fact its true..."
Oh boy...
I hope you don't apply such logic as a general rule.
I was a console gamer all my life, until 2009 when my PS3 died.
After that I switched to PC, and I've never looked back.
I live in a house with 3 other brothers however, and they are still dedicated console gamers. 2 of them have bought a PS4 while one has bought an X1. So I'm still able to keep a close eye on the latest releases.
But...If I'm honest, I just don't find the console scene interesting at all, largely due to the f...
