If the quality and story can be maintained, what is wrong if they milk it? What if it helps fund other projects like Chrono Trigger Remake? Who doesn't want more quality games and lore from a fascinating game?
Lesson learned - Don't work with Ubi
There's always money to be made with classic IP.
Hardline was my favorite Battlefield.
It's about eliminating choice. This all started in the PS3/X360 era. We were told it would allow indies to release games that otherwise couldn't be released. Yet, the previous generation (PS2) had no problem releasing plenty of games on disc. Once choice has been eliminated, it becomes take our choice or leave it. Many gamers will take it. Horse Armour already proved this outcome like it or not.
Release and fix later? Par for the ubisoft course.
How hard is it to release a bite sized, current version of a game in demo format?
The problem is the game doesn't reward for playing the objective. The MVP/player of the game is usually a player who just runs around killing and has a lower objective score if any. A simple solution would be to reward more score for playing the objective.
The paid customers will receive some premium coins to unlock a skin and a special 'I paid' badge on their profile.
At least it's just the labels swapped, but still maybe a little more QA wouldn't hurt?
Hoping a physical copy will be available
Wow, could they care any less about PC?
Looks good, always appreciate another racing game!
The point would be having access to Steam features like achievements, play-time tracking, friends list, etc.
A live service future...
Can we please stop submitting blurry article photos? It's giving me eye cancer.
click bait
UPDATE: The ESRB introduced the “in-game purchases” label in 2020. It has been pointed out to us that its presence in relation to Nintendo Switch titles has been regarding the ability to purchase a Nintendo Switch Online subscription and not any DLC or other post-release content. We regret the confusion and appreciate those who’ve brought this to our attention.
That wasn't really an interview, but OK. Nice click-bait.
There's the Evercade releasing on the 9th of April. It's a cartridge based system.
I want FULL games like the old days. No DLC, No mircotranactions, No monetization, No Cut content.
Games that work Day 1 from a disc with no internet connection. No Day 1 patch that's bloated and huge that takes 12 hours to download. Support achievements and trophies.
