I can kinda understand sports fans doing it given a lot of rivalries are firmly rooted in regions and within same cities if you get what i mean? Doesn't mean i condone anything towards violence or abusive language though.
There's choosing a side and then there's choosing a side like it's a actual war. I can not condone people insulting each over purely because they picked a different company/system to invest their cash into. If people just discussed it, presented well though out points and counter-points while being civil then that's great. Since when did Linear mean a game could not be good? Most of the highest rated games this generation have been linear.
