you are missing the point of the screen. it is not trying to be a tablet, but simply a second screen ala the ds. i for one hope there is a gamepad on the nx or at least support for existing gamepads.
a lot of you seem convinced that the target audience for a remaster has played the old version. I think any double dippers are just an added bonus for devs.

I believe steam machines will compete with gaming pcs, as a pc experience that works out of the box. what i don't like about pc gaming is the tweaking often required just to run the game. steam machine would remove that issue hopefully and play pc games on my tv. definitely interested to compliment my wii u

Minecraft is totally different. That game has no structure and infinite replayability. Linear games have little replay value and can often be adequately experience d by watching an lp. That's the problem.
To believe that lps promote sales, i believe you have to make some basic assumptions. These are imo:
Viewers initially had no intention of buying the game.
Or viewers already have the game and are viewing for the commentary
If you can convert the first group into buying the game there is a net gain in sales because you can't really count the first group as potential customers if they are only there to experience a game they arent pre...
Another point I think is relevant is this...it is entirely possible that lps drive some sales from someone that previously had no intention of buying the game. It is then feasible to believe that a portion of those watching were not going to buy the game and still won't buy the game . That being said the net positive sales level technically could have increased as a result of a youtuber doing the video. Seems like there might be something here after all.

I think the issue is that no one definitively knows if lps help or hurt sales. I mean a completely unbiased random sample and proper statistical analysis. It is simply not quantifiable. Personally, i only watch an lp if i either have no intention of buying the game or if i have already played it and want to hear the commentary. It different for everyone. If the positive effect can be proven, then I'm sure Nintendo will change their tune.
The reviewer is incorrect. You can access all of the amiibo party boards with a single amiibo. The other boards can be accessed by playing the game.

what is your evidence to the "fact" that he or she is wrong. a lot of people are excited for splatoon. will it be a huge seller...maybe..i don't know and neither do you. Nintendo announced the delay and the "fact" that they are developing a new console, which have nothing to do with one another that has been announced. a quick look at gaming history and you have a hard time making your assumptions of "fact"..

I'd like to try watchdogs on wii u, but for two problems. I can't find a local store that carries it, and it still costs more than any other versions. I would prefer a download, but am looking for sub $20. Its still 60 on the eshop.
so do I. I only really use my pro controller for local multiplayer. I prefer the button placement and size.
