It would have definately made it pop a little more amidst all the games out there. Now it very well might fade to the background.

The war games coming out have actually piqued my interest for the first time since the earliest medal of honour game.
I definately like the gritteir direction they're taking! And they show it well in the tense battle sequences and that whole river scene was stunning.

I personally haven't had a chance to see anything from Diablo since the lag is so bad I haven't been able to play it.
I'm enjoying the game so far but there is a lag that makes my soul hurt.

I'm sure most of the points have been made, but I have personally seen the decline of some favourite franchises due to this horrible trend. Deadlines are fine, people need pressure, like coal needs pressure to become a diamond, but that doesn't mean you still release a game thats not up to a standard. Or are we as fans expected to lower our standards?
