Your gaming dollars aren't wasted by having an xbox 360. If your console failed, they would replace it within 2 weeks or less for free. Not really sure what hardware accessories your talking about other than the wifi adapter. Everything else was price about the same as the ps3. Not to metion the console itself was cheaper than the ps3.
Xbox live does have its fair share of smack talking 14 year old kids. But whats cool is that you have the option to block everyone except your friends. That includes hearing them or recieving messages from them. You can also just go into a party chat, either by yourself, or several of your friends at any time.

Figures that people already have it set in their mind that this is a bad game. Why not wait untill it comes out and play it for yourself with a open mind. Then you can give a honest opinion. Don't be a dumbass and claim that this is just like mw2. Its call of duty, of course its going to look a little like mw2. Look at how Uncharted 2 looks like Uncharted 1. But most people agree that Uncharted 2 is much superior. Why not just give black ops a fair chance

Why is everyone hating prestige? If you don't want to prestige, you don't have to. Personally I love the challege of getting the highest prestige. Just an extra challege to make the game more enjoyable. Kinda like achievements and trophies.
I keep seeing alot of people commenting that theres alot of bugs. I've been playing this game for over 20 hours and haven't notice hardly any bugs or gliches. I hope you're actually playing it yourself and seeing the bugs, instead of going off what other people are saying. This is a great game. The iron sights makes a huge difference to me, and gives it a more relistic touch over fallout 3. I also like the blue skys, and the background seems more clear than fallout 3
People always bring up cod. Cod may not have much innovation, but they are some of the best selling games this generation. I just want some improvements over the last one. But keep the same formula going.

3 minutes to boot the game and load the save file? Do you know what you're tallking about? It doesn't take even a minture to do all that on the 360. Also it sounds pretty funny bragging about games being $10 cheaper on the pc, but you have to spend over a thousand dollars to get a decent gaming pc.

I really had high hopes for this game. At first, I enjoy the mp, untill I relize that the maps are too small(for team assault anyways). Everyone was just camping and sniping. The game itself is extremly laggy. The single player was ok at best. Nothing that hasn't been done better already. The game really feels like it was rushed. Please don't compare this to cod4. That was well said. Snipers are meant to stay out of sight and take slow accurate shots. This game is sounding better and better. If you watch any real military videos, you'll see snipers have their rifle on the ground. Also when they shoot it, you can see it has a major kick. No way in hell can someone run around with a sniper rifle and quick scope kill you.
