Lets be honest they like EA backed the Xbox thinking like the rest of devs theres a good chance the Xbox is going to come out the gates this gen not only on top but were gonna dominate this gen. Nice they are talking about a sequel though and not already planned DLC like 90% of devs.. I think what would go down amazing though is a free muiltiplayer DLC. That would also ship a ton more copies and a GOTY edition with multiplayer included would ship more.
I'd say DOA is officially a dead series now.. I know its a remake but the fact it couldn't even crack the top 20 on launch day is a fail with Far Cry 4 beating it even months after launch and even a PC only expansion in Total War Atilla which is a niche title.
The issue with Microsoft is they care too much about beating Sony and not enough about sales. At least with current people on top. I mean they concentrate all there ads and cut the price in the US to boost sales when they should be concentrating things like price cuts in Japan.

Not One console has had a 9/10 first party game yet.. Infamous was probably the closest to it. For all the exclusives we have had on both consoles which have all been decent games the 3rd party games have blown them away by far. This is no doubt been to rushing and getting to know the new hardware.

Persona is not for everybody thats a certainty. I am a HUGE JPRG fan had pretty much every single PS1 and PS2 JRPG and most PS3 ones but not a fan of persona series at all. Love Disgaea and love the fact it's a game you cna just lose yourself in for hours on end as it pretty much has no end. You could in theory max your characters out but it will take YEARS. No other games can say that.

Options are a nice idea but thats when we start blurring the lines between console and PC.. If they start opening things like that it won't be long before the only differnce between PC and console will be the fact you can upgrade your PC. Especially with them on same hardware.
People play consoles for the simplicity of it all in the end. 90% of gamers don't care about 60FPS also but would care if it dropped below 30fps as that's noticeable.
Ya know people complain about time.. That winds me up I mean I as a kid played a game called treasure island dizzy I played it for several weekends and got countless hours from that game yet if you watch a video on youtube the whole game can be completed in 20 minutes if you know the solution..
So my point is A game is about what you do with it and how much fun you want with it NOT about the length. We too hung-strung on minor details like time and not enough about gameplay ...
It would have worked great IF they didn't play on a 27" monitor.. That resolution makes a HUGE difference on bigger screens its why 4K on anything smaller than 50" is pointless except for enthusiasts.
So you think Xbox One can double current numbers in 1 year (currently sat at 11 million) Yet PS4 cannot sell less than what its sold so far even though its outselling the xbox worldwide each week? You need to go back to school and learn maths again. Xbox will sell about 18.5 (7.5 million sold) million years end PS4(15 million sold) 34 million if current sales keep going with PS4 outselling Xbox 2-1 worldwide..

You can sink in many, many hours into them.. If you feel like you want to get your moneys worth out of your games then you wont be disappointed with disgaea.. It gives what you put in.. It's one of those RPGs that really has no end.. It can go hundreds of hours if you let it..
Gears will definitely not be shown. Its not even been announced. We may get an announcement at the very best but now way a trailer. As for RARE.. They need burying now MS are proper killing what greatness they had left.. If they at least give them an opportunity to make a new perfect Dark it would be something...

With PS4 topping Xbox once again in America and outside of Europe in places like Japan Xbone not even selling more than a few hundred MS need a new strategy to catch up if they really want to..
