I was happy with the amount story of Mass Effect 1 and I felt it was properly concluded. I did want more but all good games should leave you like that and thank god the ending was akin to Halo 2 or rainbow 6: Vegas.
The PS2 is old. People still buy it.
It will be epic no matter the system it's on.
That is a huge loss. It boggles me how they can even lose that much money considering their games all seem to be successful.

I think Mass Effect requires a certain maturity to appreciate its thrilling story ;).
They aren't exclusives but you cant play them on the PS3. which means they strengthen the 360 line-up against PS3's.
It's going to be a close year I think.
Although it definitely appeals to the hardcore, I think it also appeals to casuals. I would call it a pop-game.
Thinking about it now, do you even get hardcore games? Isn't it just the gamers who are hardcore depending on the number of titles and the amount of time they play. what makes a game hardcore?
I thought it was boring crap since you move like a slug and it seemed kinda unrealistic. Would have been much better if it was just a cut scene. Maybe then it could have been even more gory and horrific (which is always good).

I'm guessing most people had downloaded the first episode before they heard about the retail release.
I got Fallout 3 goty edition and its the first Fallout I've played. It really is Oblivion with guns but at the same time no where near as good as Oblivion.
Fallout 3 was over-hyped, it's still good though.

I think what we all need to keep in mind is that FPS's are the most popular type of game on both hd consoles. the phrase "If it's not a shooter it doesn't sell" could be used with the PS3 just as easily as the 360.

Actually some of the really great multi-plats that are on 360 cant be found on PS3. PC, 360 only
And BTW, I can only count 6 PS3 exclusive games with 90+ on metacritic. I know AAA is to do with budget but scores are a better indication of quality. Would you not agree?
There are 5 360 (true)exclusives 90+ on metacritic.
Cant forget though that the PS3 has the highest scoring exclusives with Uncharted 2 and LBP.

Doesn't matter if the graphics are toned down slightly. Story and Game-play are what make games great and this will be an amazing xbox game.
