Well I Have a 250gig in my xbox and it's only half filled with junk like videos and demo's and the odd game I installed, all of which i would gladly delete if i could b bothered. downloaded games and DLC dont take up much space.
id take power or some other neat feature over a stupidly big hd that most people will never get close to filling. then theres the option to upgrade too.

I really hope they keep the batteries. Rechargeable AA's are better than plugging your controller in.

The updates usually take a few seconds and you can just search for whatever you want on bing.
