I completely disagree. Gears 2 Had that rubbish maria scene and gears 3 completely made up for it with the spectacular end of Dom.

They don't mention anything about the complete lack of polish compared to gears 3 and the raam sections wernt that good, especially coop.
highlights for me were the 2 bosses and the car park area was a pretty good fight. would make a good multi player map.
