Disagrees. N4G. The place where reasonable attitudes are not acceptable (unless they praise the almighty Sony)
Most "fans" who would buy the console aren't fanboys who worship a console. They are gamers, who buy what they are used to. Most people I know are waiting to buy the Xbox One until Halo MCC or Halo 5. Most people aren't arguing on the internet about game consoles, and I would love to see the source where it says "the loyal Microsoft fans already bought their system"
Its Next-Gen exclusive. Its not on 360 or PS3
Where is your source saying that most Xbox fans bought a PS4? Considering the sales are still close to less than 15% of the console sales of the Xbox 360, I really doubt that. Every Xbox fan I know either is buying a Xbox One or has one
And here is the pinnacle of the failing gaming community. Hypocritical trolling from Sony fanboys. Yes, there are a few Xbox trolls on the site, but even those with legitimate points are struck down with disagrees and lower bubbles by fanboys. If, in my opinion, I like the more vibrant colors of the Xbox One version, are you to argue with me? Are you to say my opinion is wrong? The gaming community needs to stop this petty arguing over different consoles. A good PC will put your PS4 to Xbox O...
"in gameplay too". Really? Fanboy much?
For me, seeing Nintendo make a true third-party worthy console would be nice. To make it on the level of the PS4 and Xbox One would be good, but I feel as though since its 9th gen hardware (unless it releases in the next year) it would probably be better to wait out the 8th gen and make a top of the line console in 2019 or 2020. It should certainly focus more on online gaming, and Nintendo should fix their servers. If VR is popular by then, then I would like to see that as an attachment or in...
its a 1080p TV. My eyes are fine, I wear contacts. Jesus, what is wrong with gamers today? I can't say anything about my TV without being accused of trolling? Is that what these "console wars" have came to?
If I ever buy another 3DS, it will be the 3DS LL. Anything else seems like just not worth it. My 3DS is great and all, but the 3D could really use the eye tracking upgrades. Its such a key part of the handheld, and without the ability to have some freedom in....neck movement makes the handheld slightly less appealing. Still, if you don't want to wait, I recommend going with the 3DS or 3DS XL. The 2DS seems like somewhat lackluster with the lack of portability, and playing Smash Bros. on i...
it gave me a chuckle, and for that, I thank you
Does hardcore really mean anything anymore? What is a "hardcore" gamer? The gamer that stays up to date on gaming news and participates in the community, or the gamer who sits on a couch 12 hours a day playing COD. It isn't a universally agreed upon term, and when the word is ever used its trying to appeal to a specific target market. The problem is that the target market may not identify with the term
Personally I see it like this: Xbox has a decent amount of strength in the USA, and that's about it. Xbox focuses everything on the USA, and the culture of Xbox mimics that of the USA. To try and appeal to any market outside of the US is going to be impossible, with so many other options that better fit the cultures of other nations. Microsoft should probably just realize that maybe it has a chance in China, but other than that, not many nations are really possible markets to take a hold ...
I can't say I've ever seen a better looking FPS game
I'd say its certainly possible. That or Destiny. For next-gen exclusive, either AC: Unity or Halo: MCC
Agreed. Xbox is essentially USA only at this point. I don't see millions of gamers ever switching to the box in other countries regardless of details. Just culture differences
So much random ranting on this comment section for people's consoles of choice. Not much legitimate discussions, more of screaming "PS4 CAN HAS MORE POWER!" and "BUT..PLAYSTATION SUCKS CAUSE IT HAS NO GAMES!". Just get over your petty console war. Anybody with any sense can tell you that PC gaming is where its at for this kind of detail obsession (and I say that as a avid console gamer who doesn't have a good gaming PC in the slightest)
Personally I cannot imagine either console getting a massive upper hand this gen. While PS4 has the power, not all devs are going to be willing to take advantage of it. Xbox has the superior online, and both have brilliant exclusives. I'd say Xbox has 2014, mainly due to the price drop and exclusives, but I could be wrong. The large install base of the 360 in the US will likely be looking for their next console this holiday season, and to stay on the same online service is generally the m...
Depends on your TV and preference. I prefer a smaller screen, just so I can quickly see everything in a FPS game. With that, 720p is fine for me. I can understand 1080p being important to those with larger screens, but for me its not an issue.
I had really hoped for more from the next LBP. Being a fan of the series, I had hoped to see more. While it certainly maintains the charm of the first 2, it doesn't make the jump I would have liked to see. With so many other games releasing, I'm gonna have to pass on this one
If you Sony gamers want parity, buy a PC. Really. Buying a console doesn't not make you entitled to better graphics. It was obvious developers would not put resources forward to please the 1% of gamers who argue about resolution on the internet.
